Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 6, 2026

The short version: Apex Lines has no accounts, no ads, no analytics, and no servers of ours holding your data. What you log stays on your devices and — if you use sync — in your own iCloud. We couldn't sell your data if we wanted to; we never see it.

This policy covers the Apex Lines app for iPhone and Mac and the apexlines.app website, both operated by Another One LLC ("we", "us").

What the app stores

Everything you create in Apex Lines lives in a local database on your device:

The app works fully offline and never requires you to create an account. Track maps and racing lines ship inside the app; nothing you do in the app is sent to us.

iCloud sync

If your device is signed into iCloud, your notebook syncs between your iPhone and Mac through your private iCloud database (Apple CloudKit). That data is tied to your Apple ID, stored by Apple under Apple's privacy policy, and is not readable by us. Turning off iCloud for Apex Lines in system settings stops sync; your data stays on-device.

Weather

When you plan a track day, the app asks Apple WeatherKit for the forecast or past conditions at that circuit on that date. The request carries the circuit's coordinates and the date — never your own location, name, or anything from your notebook. Apple handles it under Apple's privacy policy.

RaceBox import

Importing lap files (CSV/VBO) happens entirely on your device. If you use Connect to RaceBox, you sign in on RaceBox's own website inside the app — your credentials go to RaceBox, not to us, and we never see or store them. That signed-in session is used for exactly one thing: listing and downloading your own recorded sessions onto your device. RaceBox's privacy policy covers their side.

Track-day event listings

The event directory downloads public event calendars straight from track-day organizers, plus a small directory file we publish on our code host. These are ordinary requests for public data — nothing about you or your notebook is sent with them, though each server sees the request the way any website you visit does.

Purchases

Pro subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple through your Apple ID. We never receive your name, payment details, or billing address — only anonymous receipt validation that a subscription is active.

The website

apexlines.app is a static site. It sets no cookies and runs no analytics. Our web server keeps standard access logs (IP address, requested page, browser user-agent) for security and operations; they're automatically rotated and not shared. Pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser requests font files from Google's servers — see Google's privacy policy.

Children

Apex Lines is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone — child or adult.

Changes

If we ever change how the app handles data (for example, adding an optional online feature), we'll update this policy and change the date at the top before the change ships.
