Terms of Use
Last updated: July 6, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Another One LLC ("we", "us") covering the Apex Lines app for iPhone and Mac and the apexlines.app website. By using either, you agree to them. If you downloaded the app from the App Store, Apple's standard licensed-application terms also apply.
Read this one, even if you skip the rest: riding a motorcycle on a racetrack is inherently dangerous. Apex Lines is study and reference material computed from map data — it is not real-time guidance, not professional instruction, and not a promise that any line is safe for you, your bike, your tires, or today's conditions. The track you ride always differs from the track in the app: surface, weather, traffic, rules, and configuration change. Follow your track organization's and instructors' direction, and ride within your own limits. You alone are responsible for decisions you make on track.
License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Apex Lines on Apple devices you own or control. You may not copy the app's content into another product, redistribute it, or reverse engineer the app except where the law says we can't stop you.
Subscriptions
Apex Lines Pro is an auto-renewing subscription ($4.99/month or $39.99/year; local prices may vary) billed through your Apple ID. It renews automatically until you cancel in your device's subscription settings; cancelling leaves Pro active until the end of the paid period. Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. If we change a price, it applies from your next renewal and Apple notifies you first. One subscription covers iPhone and Mac.
Accuracy of track data
Track geometry is derived from OpenStreetMap (© OpenStreetMap contributors, ODbL) and racing lines are computed from that geometry. Both are provided as-is, for study: they may not match a circuit's current configuration, kerbing, or surface, and a computed line is a geometric ideal, not advice for a given speed, machine, or skill level. Apex Lines is independent and unaffiliated with the circuits it depicts; track names are used to identify the venues.
Your content
Notebook entries you create are yours. They live on your devices and in your iCloud (see the Privacy Policy); we claim no rights over them and have no access to them.
Disclaimers and liability
The app and website are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. To the maximum extent the law allows, Another One LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages — including, without limitation, injury, death, or property damage arising from motorcycling or other motorsport activity — and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Termination
You can stop using Apex Lines at any time. We may suspend or end the license if you materially breach these terms. Sections that by their nature should survive (disclaimers, liability limits) survive.
Changes
If we update these terms, we'll change the date above; material changes will be noted in the app or on this site before they take effect. Continuing to use Apex Lines after that means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, excluding its conflict-of-law rules.
