New Jersey Motorsports Park — Lightning
Millville, New Jersey · 3.00 km · 1.86 mi · clockwise
Lightning is the shorter of the two road courses at New Jersey Motorsports Park in Millville, New Jersey: 2,999 m (1.86 mi) run clockwise through ten corners — six rights and four lefts. The simulated profile is fast for its length: only Turn 7, a 42.6 m-radius left, pulls the reference line down to 80 km/h (50 mph); Turns 6 and 10 run through with no braking, and the drive out of Turn 10 reaches 168 km/h (104 mph) on the liter bike. The biggest elevation changes are a 3.8 m (12 ft) climb through Turn 1 and a 3.0 m (10 ft) fall through Turn 5. Simulated laps run from 1:06.1 (liter bike) to 1:09.5 (twin 650). Every figure here is a physics-simulation estimate, not measured data.

The lap opens with a right of 116.2 m effective radius that climbs 3.8 m (12 ft) over its 123 m length — the biggest rise of any corner on the course. All three classes arrive at 154 km/h (95–96 mph) in the simulation, and the brake zones spread widely by class: 123 m for the supersport 600, 174 m for the liter bike — the longest on the circuit — and 78 m for the middleweight twin. The minimum settles at 132.6 km/h (82 mph) for every class. The exit reads 153.1 km/h (95 mph) on the two larger bikes and 149.8 km/h (93 mph) on the twin, level with the entry despite the uphill grade.

Turn 7 is the tightest corner on the card and the slowest point of the simulated lap: a 126 m left at a 42.6 m effective radius, nearly level with 0.3 m of fall. The model brakes 114 m out on the supersport 600, 123 m on the liter bike and 96 m on the twin, reaching the corner at 118 km/h (73 mph) and bottoming at 80.3 km/h (50 mph) in every class — a 37 km/h drop, the largest on the lap. The long arc then becomes the lap's biggest acceleration zone: the exit is 130 km/h (81 mph) on the larger bikes and 127.5 km/h (79 mph) on the twin, almost 50 km/h above the minimum.

Turn 9 is the entry to the big right loop at the northeast end and the longest corner on the card: 255 m of arc at a 93.6 m effective radius, with a slight 0.8 m fall. The simulation reaches it at 122.7 km/h (76 mph) after a long brake application — 126 m out on the supersport 600, the longest on the lap for that class, 141 m on the liter bike and 99 m on the twin — and holds a 119.1 km/h (74 mph) minimum. The length of the arc turns its second half into an acceleration zone, with the exit at 142 km/h (88 mph) in every class as the loop opens into Turn 10.
